NEET 2023 witnessed a record registration of 20.87 lakh candidates. Similar numbers or more are anticipated for NEET 2025 as the interest in pursuing medicine continues to grow.

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.

The minimum academic qualification for the NEET exam is Class 12. Candidates can either be appearing for the board exam in that year or have already completed Class 12.

No, candidates are not required to send/submit any documents including the Confirmation Page to NTA through Post/ Fax/WhatsApp/Email/by Hand. The online application form submission is sufficient.

Candidates are required to bring the following:

  1. Admit Card along with passport-size photograph affixed on it.
  2. One passport-size photograph (to be affixed on the attendance sheet on the day of the Examination).

Candidates are advised not to bring any other items to the examination centers, as there will be no arrangement for the safekeeping of any material.

There is no age limit for candidates appearing in NEET 2024. However, candidates can appear only a specified number of times as per the eligibility criteria.

The NEET 2024 examination will consist of 200 multiple-choice objective-type questions of which candidates are required to answer 180 MCQs.
