Let OY, OZ be two perpendicular lines which intersect at O and let a third straight line OX be
perpendicular to the plane in which they lie. The three mutually perpendicular lines form a set of
co-ordinate axes. They determine three mutually perpendicular planes called co-ordinates planes.
(i) The axes to the co-ordinate form a right handed set, i.e., a right handed crew, driven from O
to X would rotate in the sense from OY to OZ.
